The Survival Program

For Tweens and Teens

(Hosted during the Summer)

The Survival Program for Tweens and Teens is based off of the workbook written by Latoya M. Alston entitled, "The Survival Workbook for Tweens and Teens". Its first volume will be used to teach youth about abuse, relationships, friendships, mental health, and self-esteem. These topics are ones that will help children not only learn how to navigate the life that they currently live, but be prepared for the life that is to come. Rising From The Shadows, LLC and the Greenville Theatre Arts Center have partnered to create a year round program to serve the local community. To serve the mission of these establishments, the program will be FREE TO PARENTS!

We will use funding and donations of community sponsors to make sure that all populations are served! The program is one that you do not want your children to miss out on because the fundamentals that will be taught are essential to life! Of course, it will not be all teaching- there will be lots of fun, activities, and more being offered! At the end, a play will be presented by the students to showcase what they have learned!
